GMB Korea Becomes the First in Korea to Localize the Active Purge Pump for Hybrid Vehicles!

GMB Korea has successfully localized and commercialized the high-value Active Purge Pump for the first time in Korea.

Originally developed to meet the rigorous standards of global OEMs, the component is now applied to the Hyundai Palisade (LX3) Hybrid.

- 12dB noise reduction (from 67dB to 55dB)
- High-performance component with lightweight and compact design
- By localizing the controller, GMB achieved co-growth with domestic partners

Thanks to this achievement, GMB Korea was recognized as a Quality Excellence Partner by Hyundai Motor Company, and an official award ceremony was held to commemorate the honor.

The successful localization of the Active Purge Pump represents a significant step toward Korea’s technological independence in the mobility industry.
