A one-way clutch is integrated into the overrunning alternator pulley (OAP), transmitting power in one direction and blocking it in the opposite direction. This design helps reduce system load by preventing abnormal loading during deceleration. GMB improves driving comfort by reducing fatigue in the various pulleys and bearings of the belt-driven system, eliminating belt slip and noise, and extending the life of the belt-driven components.
